When Soufian Zitouni proposed to Yasmine Khiari, he rented an entire garden in Mykonos, Greece, for the occasion. With champagne and flowers at the ready, he asked his beloved to join him on the terrace, where he soon dropped to one knee. This mood of lavish romance and traditional grandeur carried through to the couple’s wedding at The Ritz-Carlton Montréal.
“We wanted a venue that represented who we are,” the groom recalls. That meant a lush, cozy atmosphere that reflected a vision of old world glamour — which the ladies and gentlemen of the iconic city hotel were more than happy to deliver.
